On properties which are advertised as allowing pets, generally the following policies will apply:
Dogs – With most properties we accept any size of dog, as long as the yard can properly contain it. There are however, restrictions on acceptable breeds. Insurance companies have stated that some breeds historically have been found to be either potentially aggressive, or for various reasons tend to injure a large number of persons nationwide. We understand that you may feel that your pet at worst might “lick someone to death”, but we have to treat everyone the same way. Therefore, if your dog is one of the following breeds we cannot accept them into one of our properties.
Pit Bull Terriers
Staffordshire Terriers
Rottweilers
German Shepherds
Perro de Presa Canarios
Chows Chows
Doberman Pinschers
Akitas
Wolf-hybrids
Mastiffs
